Steven Shrubb
Managing Director
Completed his Apprenticeship with Turnbull & Jones in 1983. He then
travelled through Europe extensively until his return in 1986 whereupon he
commenced working at Lynn Electrical, taking up the position of Manager of the
Distribution Board Division.
He has an extensive knowledge of Switchboard manufacturing and looks after
all the major contracts. He is totally responsible for the management of
Lynn Electrical.
Mark Garnett
Administration Manager
Mark completed his apprenticeship with the
HMNZ Dockyard as an Electrical
Fitter in 1991. Shortly after this, he commenced employment with Lynn
Electrical in 1993 and was soon promoted to the position of Estimator. In
2003, he was appointed as the Administration Manager. He has over
20
years experience in estimating and project management.
He is involved with quotation, project management and the general management
of Lynn Electrical.
Dumitru Coman
Production Manager
From Romania, Dumitru started as an electrical fitter at Iproeb-SA
Bistrita in 1979 and was a Team Leader in 1991. He migrated to New
Zealand in 2001 and joined Lynn Electrical as an electrical fitter in
2002. He was promoted as a Leading Hand in 2004 and in 2017, he
took over the role of a Production Manager.
Dumitru is responsible for switchboard manufacturing, workshop staff and stores.
Chin Fong BBus,
NZIM, NZCE/Dip - Elec.
Business Services Manager
From Malaysia, having previously worked 6 years in low voltage switchgear for
A&G Price, GAEL Switchboards, Merlin Gerin and Schneider Electric.
Chin has been with Lynn Electrical as an Electrical Engineer since 1994.
He was involved with projects like Wastewater
Treatment Plant & stations, Britomart Transport Centre and Air New
Zealand Engineering.
Chin is responsible for looking after our clients in Preventive Maintenance
and Services.
Phil Balbuena BE – Elec.
Electrical Engineer
Prior working with Lynn Electrical, he has 10 years experience in
high and low voltage switchgear. With 3 years working for a
leading switchboard manufacturer in The Philippines, 3 years with ABB in
Saudi Arabia and 4 years with ABB in New Zealand. Phil has been
with us since 2000 as an Electrical Engineer. He was involved with
projects like IBM, Kinleith CHH, Project Forrester, Vodafone, etc.
Phil is responsible for design,
engineering and project management.
Unni Gopinathan - Diploma ECE
Electrical Draughtsman
Unni studied at Tamil Nadu, India and migrated to Abu Dhabi in 2008 for
6 years after graduation. He worked at Site Technologies and Drake
& Scull as Electrical Draughtsman. He was involved with Al Muneera,
Centro & Rotana and Masdar City projects. He joined Lynn
Electrical as an Electrical Draughtsman in 2014.
Unni is responsible for draughting
and engineering.
Clement Mohan Diploma
Elec
Estimator
After graduating with a
diploma in Electrical Engineering from Fiji Islands, Clement worked as a
Project Supervisor/Estimator for 6 years with Kooline Refrigeration in
the electrical department. He was involved with projects throughout
the Pacific Islands. He joined Lynn Electrical as an Estimator in
2010. Clement was involved in pricing for DN2 Westgate Westfield
Mall, Sylvia Park Office, Acute Mental Health Middlemore, University of
Auckland B405, 277 Newmarket Wesfield, etc.
Clement is responsible
for project estimation.
Arjun Chavda BE – Elec.
Estimator
After graduating with a
bachelor in Electrical Engineering from India, Arjun worked as a
Site Engineer for 6 months with H.R. Electrical, Ahemedabad. He joined Lynn Electrical as an Estimator in
2016. Arjun was involved in pricing for Grafton Hall
Accommodation, Kumeu & Flat Bush primary schools, University of Auckland
B405 HVAC, etc.
Arjun is responsible
for project estimation.
Christchurch - Branch Office
Ravineshwar Lal BEng
Tech
Manager
From Fiji Islands, Ravi
worked as an Electrical Draftsperson for 4 years at VEL Engineering,
Building Services Consultancy after graduating from University of The
South Pacific. He brings with him experience in AutoCAD electrical
drafting. He joined Lynn Electrical as Junior Electrical
Engineer in April 2011. He was involved in engineering for projects
like Justice Precinct Christchurch, Farmers Rangiora, Christchurch
Cashel Square, University of Auckland, North Shore Hospital, etc.
Ravi joined the Christchurch
branch in Oct 2016 and is responsible for sales, estimating
and engineering, besides the general management of Christchurch branch.
FINANCIAL
Stephen Moorhead BCom, CA
Financial Controller
Stephen has over 25 years experience including 11 years with The Fletcher Challenge
Group of Companies. He has worked for Lynn Electrical since July 2003.
Stephen is responsible for all financial aspects of the company including
accounting and office administration.
